King of the Ladder – Overthrow your friends of push and pull in a game type of King of the Hill, except you rule the ladder.

Overview of this Map

King of the Ladder is just the same as King of the Hill in any other type of play. Don’t know what King of the Hill is? It’s a type of gameplay with a straight forward goal, capture and hold an objective for a certain amount of time, whether it’s a hill, a flag, a ladder, or anything you can think of. Hold it for that certain amount of time, and you or your team is crowned King of the Hill. Of course, you will be against some obstacles such as racing against an enemy team, which is our situation here. This map is pretty straightforward itself. Once you enter the map, you should take a look around, and pick a team color. There, it’s up to you and your team to stock up and prepare for a long climb.

The map consists of four sides, all connected to the center of area that holds one long block tower of obsidian encased in ladders. Pick the color of your team, head over there, set your spawn and arm yourself to fight as you climb. Each spawn area includes a bed, a chest filled with items enough to supply yourself or a team. Afterwards, you head out and race to the top of the obsidian tower while attempting to kill or knock off your opponents. When you reach the top, there will be buttons in the color of your section you chose. Once at the top, press the button and a timer for your color will start to countdown. Hold your ground as king for five minutes and victory will be yours. The time is accumulated, when one timer starts, the previous one stops, but the accumulated time does not reset.
